Papers of a United Presbyterian clergyman from Minnesota who worked as a civil rights volunteer with the Delta Ministry in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, 1964-1967. The Ministry was founded in 1964 as a continuation of a summer project by out-of-state religious leaders to act as intermediaries between black and white communities and to provide relief to the poorer residents of Mississippi; Beech served as the Delta Ministry's Hattiesburg office's director.
